Expressive Music Experiences for Children Experiencing Housing Instability

Music & Me is a new initiative launching in partnership with shelters and supportive housing communities to provide free expressive music experiences for children ages 5–12 experiencing housing instability. Grounded in trauma-informed and strengths-based practices, the initiative creates safe and welcoming spaces where children can explore, create, express themselves, and experience a sense of belonging through music.

We believe every child deserves access to high-quality expressive music experiences, regardless of their circumstances. Through partnerships with shelters and supportive housing communities, Music & Me aims to bring creative music opportunities directly to children and youth, helping them discover their voices, build confidence, and experience the power of music as a source of connection, creativity, and growth.

Through music, we create spaces where children feel safe enough to feel, free enough to find their voice, and connected enough to belong.
