About Aetna

Aetna Music and Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in the San Francisco Bay Area by Dr. Tong Zhang, a classically trained pianist and pedagogue. 

Rooted in the belief that music can foster connection, reflection, and well-being in everyday life, the Foundation collaborates with artists, educators, and local organizations to develop high-quality musical experiences, made more accessible to the general public through a pay-what-you-wish ticketing model. 

Through concerts, workshops, and community-based programs, we bring music into shared public spaces where people can slow down, listen more deeply, and return to presence, creating space for human connection, reflection, and well-being.
