Aetna Music and Arts Foundation advances well-being and human connection through meaningful musical experiences.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we create meaningful musical experiences that promote well-being across communities while expanding access to free expressive music experiences for children and youth experiencing housing instability.

Our programs are thoughtfully designed, delivered, evaluated, and continuously refined through community partnership, evidence-informed practice, and ongoing learning to create lasting social impact.

Founded by Dr. Tong Zhang, a classical pianist, educator, and arts and health advocate, the Foundation is committed to advancing meaningful musical experiences that help people and communities flourish.
